Rowan Atkinson, the actor who is most famously known for playing Mr Bean, is selling his 1993 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo II at auction.

Although you may know him from the big screen, Atkinson is also quite the car fanatic considering he races and owns a number of desirable classic and modern vehicles.

Having purchased the Delta in May 2021 with just 87,000km on the clock, the actor only did around 2000km in the car.

All Delta’s were sold as left-hand drive cars as per their Italian origin including Atkinson’s. However, his car was originally sold new in Japan and imported to the United Kingdom in 2011.

This particular example is an Evoluzione II, meaning it was fitted with an uprated 2.0-litre, 16-valve turbo four-cylinder producing 160kW which sends power to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

Just 4223 of these models were made, featuring distinctive cosmetic upgrades like aluminium fuel cap and air intake grilles, a red cam-shaft cover, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

While it doesn’t quite come with a driver’s seat strapped to the roof like Mr Bean’s Mini has, the interior features tan Recaro bucket seats and a three-spoke Momo steering wheel.

Silverstone Auctions, who are handling the car’s sale, expect Atkinson’s Lancia Delta Integrale to fetch between £65,000 ($NZ125,000) and £75,000 ($NZ144,000) when it goes under the hammer on February 25, 2023.
