Polestar 4 will be brand’s fastest production car

The Polestar 4 is gearing up for its big reveal at the Shanghai Auto Show next week where we’ll be introduced to the brand’s fastest production car to date.

Polestar is calling the latest addition to its portfolio an SUV coupe which has been transformed for the electric age. It says the new model marries the aerodynamics of a coupe with the space of an SUV and is enhanced by modern technology.

As for its design, many features and sustainability enhancements found on the Swedish brand’s concept cars are set to make their production debut on the Polestar 4.

While nothing has been said regarding its specifications, the carmaker confirmed that it will be the fastest car it has ever made to date.

“Polestar 4 is not simply a modified version of our first SUV. Instead, we reconsidered the entire design to create a new breed of SUV coupé,” says Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO.

We expect to hear more about the Polestar 4 when it’s revealed on 18 April 2023, alongside more details about the Polestar 3 and recently updated Polestar 2.
