Ineos Builds A Unique Aussie ‘Kaiju’ Quartermaster

Ineos Automotive’s Australian operation has built a one-off special Grenadier Quartermaster Cab Chassis.

This has all sorts of customisation bits and bobs added.

Called the ‘Kaiju Quartermaster’, the name relates to a mythical monster in Japanese. They chose this name to convey the potent capabilities of the Grenadier. It also acknowledges Australia’s love affair with modified Japanese 4×4 vehicles.

The all-black Kaiju Quartermaster is based on the Quartermaster Cab Chassis ute. It is engineered to deliver off-road capability and load-carrying versatility for work and adventure.

Adventures like this one.

Some well-known Australian accessory suppliers helped in the one-off ‘Kaiju Quartermaster’ build. These include Norweld, Rhino-Rack, Brown Davis, REDARC, JMACX, GME, BF Goodrich, MAXTRAX, and STEDI.

With a fully blacked-out exterior and commanding presence, the Kaiju project is a unique off-roader that showcases the almost infinite customisation possibilities available to Grenadier and Quartermaster customers.

Hate to think what all the extras added to the weight and the cost.

Justin Hocevar, Asia Pacific Regional Director, at Ineos Automotive commented: “We wanted to create a truly unique Quartermaster together with some incredibly innovative local engineering and accessory partners.

“The Quartermaster Cab Chassis is a ‘blank canvas’ that allows for great versatility when it comes to customisation, so together with these project partners, we let our imagination run wild.

“Ultimately, the ‘Kaiju Quartermaster’ expresses our Australian vision of Built For More.”

Wait, forgot something....

Equipment on the special build includes the Norweld Elite Tray and Compact Deluxe Lite Canopy, engineered to keep dust and water out during the most extreme overlanding adventures.

Other additions include a Brown Davis long-range fuel tank, giving explorers an additional 168 litres on top of the factory 90-litre tank.

Still with the squared off look, even with the extras.

This vehicle also has REDARC’s range of RS3 Pure Sine Wave Inverters, Alpha150 150A lithium battery and Manager Alpha50. This gives the Kaiju Quartermaster’ a complete battery management system for the most demanding recreational and off-grid energy needs.

Ineos Automotive extends the vehicle’s warranty to cover select aftermarket components from official accessories partners when ordered through retailers. This provides customers with peace-of-mind even when customising their Grenadier or Quartermaster to suit their own particular needs.

The ‘Kaiju Quartermaster’ will be utilised across events and for promotional purposes in Australia over the next few months.

Bye, off to the Outback.
