GasGas RX 450F Replica – Want some of this action?

Dakar replicas are becoming a bit of a thing. KTM did one and now GasGas is offering a machine that is evidently based on Sam Sunderland’s 2022 Dakar Rally winner. To be known as the RX 450F Replica, GasGas decided to do a limited run “to give back to the rally community”.

Each one is assembled with many of the same components that went into Sunderland’s Dakar-winning machine. GasGas reckons the RX 450F Replica is “as close as it gets to the real deal” and it’s on sale now, across the globe. They say these will sell out fast so if you’ve half a mind, call your local GasGas dealer ASAP.

The factory promises that the RX 450F Replica will make your rally career or next desert adventure “so much easier and way more fun.” 

Evidently nothing extra is needed to go desert racing, and the list of components includes: a lightweight carbon fiber navigation tower, WP XPLOR PRO front forks and rear shock, red anodized X-TRIG triple clamps, Red Supersprox Stealth rear sprocket, Neken handlebars, Akrapovic exhaust, Brembo race brakes, a Hinson clutch cover, and Continental TKC 80 tyres on black anodized EXCEL rims. There’s even an optional sticker kit.

Based on the 63hp single cylinder motor from the MC 450F motocross bike, the RX 450F Replica is ready to go hard. It has been retuned to deliver usable power for rally racing while for reliability there’s a strengthened clutch and gearbox, a reworked single overhead cam cylinder head and Pankl con-rod and piston.
