It’s a relatively quieter weekend, with an IndyCar doubleheader headlining the Kiwis racing overseas this weekend.

Scott Dixon and Scott McLaughlin will compete in both races, while Hunter McElrea will also run at the same venue in Indy NXT.

Liam Sceats heads to Japan to compete in Round 4 of the Formula Regional Japanese Championship.

While he’s not Kiwi, how good is it to see Daniel Ricciardo returning to Formula 1? The Hungarian Grand Prix begins at 2.00am on Monday.

Scott Dixon and Scott McLaughlin will fly the New Zealand flag at this weekend’s IndyCar double-header in Ohio. Dixon currently sits second in the standings, 117 points behind runaway leader Alex Palou, while Scott McLaughlin is 42 points behind in sixth.

IndyCar will race two 250-lap races over the .875-mile tri0-oval, where lap times are under 18 seconds.

Being ovals, Marcus Armstrong will not be competing in this round.

Liam Sceats returns to Japan to compete in Round 4 of the Japanese Formula Regional Championship at Mobility Resort Motegi. Sceats did, however, get the better of his rival last time by taking his maiden victory at Okayama.

The series will race three 16-lap or 30-minute races over the weekend.
