Volkswagen NZ releases pricing for ID.4 and ID.5

Volkswagen New Zealand has released specification and pricing for the first of its fully electric ID models to grace our roads, the ID.4 and ID.5.

The ID.4 is priced from $79,990 drive-away and will be available in two trim levels including ID.4 PRO and ID.4 PRO+, both featuring a 77kWh battery capable of travelling 485km on a single charge.

Power comes to 150kW and an instant 310Nm of torque is on offer, alongside other features like 19-inch alloy wheels, a 10-inch colour touch-screen and an ID exclusive “Twist & Go” ignition function.

In addition to the main features of PRO, the ID.4 PRO+ also includes ‘IQ. Light’ Matrix LED headlights with front LED light bar, 12 inch ‘Discover Max’ colour touch-screen and Premium sound system.

The ID.5 is priced from $85,490 plus on-road costs, also available in two trim levels including ID.5 PRO and ID.5 PRO+ with the same approximate 485km range as the ID.4.

On the outside, the ID.5 features a coupe-like SUV silhouette finished in two-tone colours. Inside, occupants can find a 12-inch colour touch-screen (standard on PRO & PRO+) and Premium sound system (exclusive to PRO+).

The ID.5 PRO+ also features ID. exclusive 20-inch alloys.

Those interested can view the models at the pop-up ‘Car Store’ on Level 1 at Westfield Newmarket between September 21 and October 4.
