VINZ appoints new CEO
Vehicle Inspection NZ (VINZ) recently announced that Tony Gibson has been appointed as the company’s new chief executive officer and managing director.
Gibson was previously the CEO of Ports of Auckland and started his new role at VINZ on August 22, 2022.
Former CEO of VINZ, Sean Stevens, left the role at the end of July to pursue other opportunities after one and a half years.
Before Gibson stepped into the top role, Euan Philpot handled CEO responsibilities on an interim basis when Stevens left.
Gibson has 30 plus years of experience in transport and logistics, acting as the managing director of P&O Nedlloyd and Maersk New Zealand throughout his career.
