Well Triumph might well have just the thing for you in its Bonneville Bobber TFC. It’s a factory custom limited edition that aurifies the standard Bobber. It also means the customisation is already done for you.
The factory is building 750 for global consumption, and just 10 are likely to make it to New Zealand. Each comes with a numbered badge on the billet-machined top yoke. No price is to hand as yet, but given the standard bike is $24k we’d imagine somewhere around $30k for the exhaust and suspension upgrades and the rarity factor.
Beneath the hand-painted tank is a stroppier 1200cc parallel twin, good for 57kW at 6000rpm and 106Nm of torque from 3750rpm. Extra low down grunt evidently gives the bike an effortless riding feel. However, there’s also a new Sport mode for when you’re feeling frisky. TC is standard fit.
The Bobber TFC features a two-tone finish with hand-painted marble gold-textured accents on the fuel tank and side panels. Each tank is hand signed on the underside by the artist.
Clip-on bars give a more focussed riding position while a slim 19-inch front wheel contrasts with the wide rear tyre.
A pair of matt black Akrapovic silencers with carbon fibre end caps give vent to the TFC’s more aggressive engine map and faster throttle response. Expect it to sound as good as it looks.
Öhlins suspension features up front (NIX 30 USD forks) and down the back while Brembo M50 radial monobloc brakes and master cylinder handle stopping duties. The Bobber TFC has gone on a diet as well, losing 5kg and further enhancing performance.
Other updates include gold detailing on the ignition key and fork lowers, an embossed single leather seat, and gloss lacquered carbon fibre side panels and mudguard stays. There are also billet-machined engine cover badges and a gold coloured final drive chain. Suspension adjusters are also in gold. Bullet-style rear lights keep things clean at the rear.
The Bobber TFC will go on sale here in Q2 of 2025, with actual pricing available around that time.
