Dean Sheed takes on new role within European Motor Distributors

After serving 14 years as Audi New Zealand’s General Manager, Dean Sheed has announced that he has taken on a new role within European Motor Distributors (EMD).

He now assumes the newly established position of Branded Finance and Mobility Manager which covers all brands under the distributor including Audi, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial, Porsche, Skoda, and Cupra.

Sheed will also oversee the management of EMD’s finance, insurance, and mobility partners, including UDC Finance, ERL, Provident Insurance, and Sixt.

“After 14 years with the 4 rings [Audi], I have been fortunate to lead or attend some amazing experiences locally and globally,” Sheed said on social media upon announcing his new position.

“Its also been a pleasure assisting in the development of our team members who are now realising their potential and achieving success in many parts of the business.”

Greg Leet now becomes General Manager for Audi New Zealand after spending four years in the Volkswagen General Manager role.

“The brand is in good hands with Greg Leet taking over the reins to guide the team and develop the business,” says Sheed.
