BYD Auto New Zealand has today announced the appointment of a nationwide panel and paint repair network which will support the brand’s customers and growing fleet of models.

Each repairer has been hand-picked by BYD with those chosen being in the top in their field while also meeting all repairer industry legislation and are fully Health & Safety compliant.

Specialist training will be provided to the approved repairers by BYD Asia Pacific regional headquarters.

“By handpicking the best in their field, we know our customers are getting the very best aftercare possible if it comes to the unfortunate situation that their vehicle is involved in an accident,” says Guy Starling, Group Aftersales Manager for BYD Auto NZ.

“It will always be repaired back to manufacturer specifications with precision and quality.”

All mechanical and electrical repairs and parts will go through the BYD Approved Dealer Network to hold the vehicle’s integrity and warranty. This includes any re-programming of the BYD ADAS system.

Each specialist approved BYD repairers in the network have been audited and adhere to a set of standards and compliance which must be maintained.

BYD also plans to install EV charges at each of the Approved Panel Repair Network premises with courtesy cars also on offer to customers.

There are currently nine approved repairers in the North Island of New Zealand while five are present in the South Island, bringing the total to 14.
