Ago endorses another limited edition MV Agusta

October 29, 2021

MV Agusta once again pays tribute to the legend that is Giacomo Agostini with a limited-edition series of the Superveloce, to be known as the Superveloce Ago. This is the third Ago series model by MV Agusta, the previous versions being the F4 Ago and F3 Ago.

Agostini is the world champion of collecting world championship titles, having amassed 15 in his career, on the back of 311 Grand Prix race wins. No coincidence then that only 311 examples are to be made of the Superveloce Ago.

The first 15 examples are dedicated to each of his world title wins. These bikes are characterised by a leather tank strap and a celebratory carbon fibre plate. Each plate will feature unique graphics honouring the event at which the trophy was won and the year of the world title. They will be signed by Ago himself.

The Superveloce Ago will be distinguished by a special Arrow three-exit exhaust system featuring two silencers on the right side and one on the left. Typically, MV three-cylinder models have all three silencers exiting on the same side. These bikes are homologated for road use, so the mufflers are street legal. They also contribute to an increase in power and torque output, made possible by a dedicated ECU set-up and they imbue the bike with ‘special racing character’.

Other unique features include red handle grips, like those Agostini rode with, a carbon fibre seat cowl fitted with an Alcantara pad, and an exclusive bike cover along with a certificate guaranteeing the authenticity of the limited series.

Pricing is not yet available but those interested in purchasing a Superveloce Ago should contact their nearest MV Agusta dealer.
