Lightweight British sports car specialist Zenos is gearing up for a return, previewing its E10 RZ ahead of production in early 2026. The reimagined model builds on the brand’s E10 road and track car, this time packing up to 500bhp per tonne and a full carbon fibre body.
Shown in prototype form, the E10 RZ will headline a refreshed range of Zenos sports cars, sitting above the new E10 R2, which is set to arrive a few months later. Fewer than 50 cars are expected to be delivered in the first full year of production, with UK pricing for the RZ around £140,000 (roughly NZ$300k) and the R2 at £120,000 (NZ$260k).

Evolution, not revolution
The original Zenos E10, launched in 2014, had an aluminium-extrusion spine chassis for a light weight and engaging driving dynamics. The new RZ keeps that ethos but adds modern firepower. Its 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces around 380bhp and 510Nm, paired with a six-speed manual and limited-slip differential. With a kerb weight kept low thanks to full carbon bodywork, the power-to-weight ratio tips the scales at 500bhp per tonne.
The chassis features increased front and rear track widths for stability, a lower centre of gravity, and fully independent suspension. Up front, pushrod-operated dampers are mounted inboard to reduce unsprung weight, while the rear uses conventional coilovers on a tubular steel subframe housing the engine and gearbox.

Added drama, same lightweight spirit
A full carbon fibre body underscores Zenos’ weight-saving ethos while adding visual aggression. Buyers will be able to choose painted finishes, exposed weave, or bespoke treatments. Inside, the driver-focused cabin gets carbon-fibre bucket seats, updated instrumentation and controls, and a modern infotainment and information cluster. Updated LED light clusters front and rear complete the redesign.

The Junior Model: E10 R2
Joining the line-up mid-2026, the E10 R2 offers a slightly more accessible entry point to the Zenos range. It features a 2.3-litre turbo engine producing around 325bhp, equating to roughly 400bhp per tonne. Like the RZ, it uses the advanced aluminium and carbon chassis, carbon bodywork, and a six-speed manual with limited-slip diff. UK pricing is expected at £120,000.
A Modern British Revival
Founded in 2012, Zenos made its name by blending traditional lightweight British sports car principles with modern engineering. After a period of quiet, the new E10 range signals a revival, bringing updated materials, advanced powertrains, and hand-built carbon fibre craftsmanship.
