Available in four variants – ID. Buzz Pro NWB, Pro LWB, GTX, and Cargo – it has a “bold new exterior that blends a modern design with a tribute to its enduring roots”. Details include “eye-blink” headlights, and the passenger van and cargo are said to be equipped with “class-leading safety features”. These include autonomous emergency braking, front and side assist, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind spot monitoring and traffic alerts.

How big is the ID. Buzz?

The Buzz Pro NWB measures up at 4712mm long and has seats for five although a six seat configuration is a $2400 option. The others sit on a longer wheelbase and come in at 4962mm in length and have seats for seven (with a six-seat layout a no-cost option).

Upfront, there is a “Ready 2 Discover” infotainment system with a 12.9-inch touchscreen featuring wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. There is a wireless charge pad and multiple USB ports.
The ID. Buzz passenger variants come standard with front seats that feature a massage function. The ID. Buzz Box is a special feature; it’s a removable storage compartment between the front seats.

The Pro rolls on 19s as standard while the dual motor GTX gets 21s. There are a range of colours available at no extra charge, but the two tone paint job that you really want is an extra $5200 for the Pro models while the GTX is limited to a silver and red combo for $3200.

The ID.Buzz Cargo

The Buzz Cargo comes with a 210kW/560Nm rear-drive motor and has a 79kWh battery. It has a 382km electric range while the payload is stated at 707kg. It has twin sliding doors with powered operation being an option. The standard layout in the cab is a driver’s seat and a two-seater front passenger bench. A two seat comfort package with armrests for both front seats and the ID Buzz Box in between can be had for $550.
