The latest chapter of the Toyota Supra saga is coming to an end. Toyota Australia has announced it will cease taking orders for the current-generation GR Supra by the end of the month.
In New Zealand, the only GR Supra listed on the local website is the manual, at $99,490, suggesting stock and availability is all but done for this country too. We await offical comment on its demise here however.
Production of the current model is due to end early next year, bringing an end to the car’s six-year run.

Toyota Australia Vice President Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations Sean Hanley said; “The GR Supra already had a sterling legacy when the current generation launched in 2019, and we’re pleased to say it has exceeded the expectations set by its predecessors,” Mr Hanley said.

“While customers will no longer be able to purchase their own GR Supra by the end of August, fans of the GR Supra will be able to follow its story when it lines up on the Supercars Championship grid in 2026 and beyond.”
