Suzuki New Zealand is celebrating big after earning the Canstar Blue Customer Satisfaction New Car Award for 2024.

This marks the fifth time the brand has received the award after it did so in 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018.

Suzuki beat the likes of Mazda, Toyota, and Ford for the top spot by scoring five stars in all categories, including overall satisfaction, after sales, service, driving experience, point of sale service, reliability, and value for money.

“The brand achieved a quite remarkable set of perfect five-star ratings across the award categories. No other brand earned a five-star rating for overall satisfaction,” says Bruce Pitchers, Editor for Canstar Blue.

“In total, only three other car brands earned the five-star rating at all, and then only one apiece. So Suzuki really is the stand-out performer in this year’s ratings.”

Gary Collins, General Manager of Automotive Marketing for Suzuki NZ, says the team is delighted to win the Canstar Blue Award once again.

“We are so very pleased to see that Suzuki was the only brand to score a maximum five stars in the value for money category,” he added.

Suzuki most recently launched the five-door Jimny in New Zealand, joining its ever-so-popular three-door counterpart. It also expects the new Swift to arrive by mid-2024, with pricing and specifications to be announced closer to launch.
