Nissan has unveiled its Patrol Nismo, a high-performance model designed primarily but not exclusively for the Middle East. It blends track-inspired engineering with SUV practicality and is the most powerful Patrol yet. Expect new Y63 Patrol here next year.

A tuned 3.5L twin-turbo V6 petrol engine produces 369kW and 700Nm of torque in Sport Mode. It comes with a red-accented engine cover and commemorative metal plate. This mates to a recalibrated nine-speed automatic transmission while paddle shifters ensure added driving engagement.

A new bumper design improves brake cooling by six per cent, while rear aerodynamic elements, such as layered air diffusers and an elongated spoiler, enhance high-speed stability and handling.

The Patrol Nismo’s aggressive front fascia features a redesigned V-Motion grille and air curtains that improve downforce and reduce lift. Its aerodynamic package includes rear side splitters and air outlets for additional stability.

The Patrol Nismo’s recalibrated suspension uses Nismo-tuned electronic dampers that adjust on the go for optimal ride quality and body control. Paired with a new electronic power steering system and 22-inch Rays forged alloy wheels, the SUV offers enhanced agility and grip. Active Sound Enhancement and a tuned exhaust make it sound off as well, enriching the drive experience.

The cabin continues the motorsport theme with a black-and-red color scheme, contrasting stitching, and carbon fibre-inspired finishes. Nismo branding is found on the headrests, red seat belts, and aluminum pedals. A red start/stop button adds to the performance look and feel. Sport seats with honeycomb quilting offer added support for dynamic driving.

There are five exterior colors available, including a Nismo-exclusive Stealth Gray, offered in both monotone and dual-tone configurations with a contrasting black roof and red accents.

It will go on sale across the Middle East from July 2025. We asked about the new Patrol coming here and Nissan NZ said: “It’s very exciting to see the unveiling of the Y63 Patrol Nismo. Oceania is confirmed as the first right-hand drive market for Y63 Patrol, with orders due to open in late 2026. We will confirm specification closer to the launch.”
