Royal Enfield is about to launch its Goan Classic 350cc model, a bobber based on the standard Classic 350. Cue ape hanger bars, a cut rear mudguard, whitewall tyres and low slung double seat.

The name Goan references the state of Goa on India’s West Coast. New Goan Classic joins the Bullet, Classic, Hunter and Meteor in the 350cc range.
Powering the Goan Classic is a 15kW (at 6100rpm), 27Nm (4000rpm) single-cylinder engine.

Wheels comprise tubeless wire-spoke rims finished with Ceat tyres. A pair of twin-tube shocks support the bike’s rear, while a conventional 41mm front fork is housed at the front with 130mm of travel. It is non-adjustable.

The Goan’s 750mm seat height is 25mm lower than that of the Classic 350. Goan Classic 350 uses the same brakes as the standard bike, meaning a 300mm disc with a two-piston floating caliper, and at the rear a 270mm disc slowed by a single-piston floating caliper. Lighting is full LED. And there’s a digital-analogue display with Tripper Navigation.
Expect a minor price premium over the Classic 350. So here in New Zealand, we imagine it will kick off at around $8500, given the Classic 350 is $7990. We are awaiting confirmation of pricing.

Colours include Purple Haze, Shack Black, Trip Teal, and Rave Red.
