The Ford Mustang Mach-E update for the 2025 model year arrives here next year with a new look and extra kit. The update should dot down by Q2 of 2025.

Flash new paint scheme for facelifted Mustang Mach-E.

There’s the new ‘Sport Appearance Package’ that mimics the look and feel of the GT model, but is available on lesser Mach-E variants. Spot the MY2025 Mach-E by its new grille and fascia, black-painted door cladding and 19-inch wheels. Some versions come with red Brembo brake callipers, depending on region. Inside, 2025 Mustang Mach-Es fitted with the Sport pack get contrasting red stitching and sportier pedals.

Interior gets a tart-up as well.

Ford says it is also offering three new colours on 2025 cars – Molten Magenta Metallic (some version of red), Velocity Blue Metallic, and Desert Sand (grey-white). There are also three new wheel options.

Heaps of spade here and nice red stitching.

Ventilated front seats become standard on higher level models. And a column-mounted gear shifter replaces the rotary dial on the centre console, freeing up space.

There’s also a standard-fit heat pump for improved range and efficiency during cooler months.

Distinctive taillights and red Brembo calipers.

Upgrades to the firm’s BlueCruise system -BlueCruise 1.5 – allow the Mustang Mach-E to perform automated lane changes where possible.

Ford says that BlueCruise 1.5 will attempt to change lanes if the vehicle ahead is slower than the set speed, or if a vehicle is following too closely. It helps navigate in heavy traffic.

Ford says that on a typical trip, BlueCruise 1.5 can automate up to 45 per cent of lane changes. BlueCruise is an OTA update, with a 90-day free trial. Alternatively, the owner can pay a fixed fee for a year, or purchase it outright, at least in the US.

Prices for the updated Mach-E will be revealed closer to launch time.
