Motorsport Diary: Kiwis racing overseas this weekend

KIWIS RACING ABROAD | JULY 25-28 WEEKEND PREVIEW

The track action continues this weekend as 15 Kiwi drivers compete across 10 categories.

In the United States, Scott Dixon, Scott McLaughlin, and Marcus Armstrong return to action for Round 14 of the IndyCar Series at Laguna Seca in California. 

Shane van Gisbergen tackles the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Round 22 of the NASCAR Cup Series.

Then he and McLaughlin suit up for the grand finale of the Cook Out Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

In Europe, Liam Lawson returns to Formula 1 action with Racing Bulls for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.

Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy fight for championship honours as the 2025 Formula E season concludes in London.

Closer to home, Sandown Raceway plays host to the GT Festival, where several Kiwi drivers will be behind the wheel.

And in Hungary, Avalon Lewis and Billee Fuller continue their campaigns in the World Women’s Circuit Racing Championship (World WCR) at Balaton Park Circuit.
