MG will donate $10 to the Red Cross for every test drive this month

MG New Zealand’s ‘Test Drive for a Difference’ is back for another year, an initiative that will see the brand donate $10 to the New Zealand Red Cross for every test drive of one of its models.

This year marks the fifth in a row of fundraising for the Red Cross, an organisation dedicated to helping vulnerable people across the country, whether they’ve been affected by a disaster or emergency, or those who need a hot meal.

MG will raise funds from December 11 to 31, 2023, or until it reaches $10k, through its 19-strong dealer network.

“At MG, we’re proud to support New Zealand Red Cross and recognise the outstanding work the organisation does for so many in our community,” said Arek Zywot, Country Manager for MG Motor New Zealand.

“I would encourage as many people as possible to visit your nearest MG dealer and use the ‘Test Drive for a Difference’ as an added incentive to help contribute to the wellbeing of Kiwis in need.

“Christmas is a time for giving and this is one small way MG New Zealand can contribute to an organisation which offers those in need some extra support during the festive season.”

The ‘Test Drive for a Difference’ initiative takes place in both New Zealand and Australia, with each nation’s MG brand raising a collective $250,000 for the Red Cross over the past five years.
