Mercedes has added a Special Edition of its A-Class 250 4Matic hatch. It features unique styling elements, AMG wheels and interior enhancements.
Two new colours are also available for the first time in a compact model, Alpine Grey solid and Patagonia Red.
All up, Mercedes says the SE variant comes with $2100 of complimentary equipment.

A Night Package is fitted without charge, adding high-gloss black elements such as tailpipe trims and side sill panels. The car also comes with special 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels in high-gloss black with a high-sheen finish.
Unique interior features include a panoramic sunroof, and grey seatbelts and grey contrast topstitching on the seats, dashboard, and door panels.

In the near future, the A-Class product range will expand further with the addition of the Mercedes-AMG A 45 edition R+. It is due to arrive in New Zealand early next month.
Meantime, pricing for the A 250 4MATIC Special Edition is $82,900. That includes GST and on-road costs.
The A-Class was on the way out but Mercedes has recently had a change of heart, facelifting the model and readying it as EV sales remain on a go-slow.
