Leapmotor has released the first images of its upcoming A10 compact electric SUV. The teaser images were posted on Chinese social platform Weibo ahead of the A10’s full world debut on 21 November at the Guangzhou Auto Show.
From these early images, the A10 follows the sleek-but-understated design language seen on Leapmotor’s larger mid-size SUV, the B10. One playful flourish stands out; LED front and rear lighting signatures styled to resemble smiley emojis.

Other visible details include a LiDAR sensor mounted above the windscreen, flush-fitting door handles, a charging port positioned within the front wheelarch, and a blacked-out C-pillar intended to give the roof a floating effect.

Minimalist interior expected
Leapmotor has yet to reveal the A10’s cabin, but based on its existing models, a pared-back interior is almost certain. Both the C10 and B10 go without physical buttons entirely, relying instead on a large 14.6-inch central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital driver display which is a layout the A10 is widely expected to adopt.
Technical specs TBA
No powertrain details have been confirmed, but the A10 is expected to run on Leapmotor’s ‘Leap 3.5’ platform, shared with the B10. That architecture supports the brand’s new lightweight oil-cooled electric motor, which promises improved efficiency.

Range is expected to sit around 400km on a suitable battery pack, and maximum DC charging speeds should exceed 150kW, positioning the A10 competitively within the small EV crossover segment.
Leapmotor has confirmed the A10 will be a global model and is slated to reach the UK in 2026. It’s therefore likely to be a starter here at some point too.
