Kawasaki New Zealand has confirmed local availability for the updated Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-10RR models.
Set to hit showroom floors in mid-2026, these new Ninjas feature a raft of updates, headlined by the new winglets fitted below the headlight.

According to Kawasaki’s release, these new winglets not only look great, but also “enhance front-end feel for greater control through corners”.
Aside from the external additions, this Ninja is also reportedly using a new 998cc engine. Power and torque figures aren’t specifically addressed, so can assume they’re remaining at the 156kW/114Nm of the outgoing model.
The lightweight chassis is paired with Showa suspension components, and stopping power is handled by Brembo brakes measuring 330mm at the front.

Traction control, launch control, ABS, engine braking, and Kawasaki’s corner management system are all included.
It also gets a quick shifter, an Ohlins steering damper, LED lighting, Bridgestone Battlax Racing Street RS12 tyres, and a 5.0-inch TFT display.
As for the single-seat Ninja ZX-10RR, Kawasaki notes that it is limited to 500 units worldwide, with just 10 units making their way down to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

It gets lightweight pistons and high-performance titanium connecting rods, titanium coating on fork tubes, steel braided brake lines, and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres.
Kawasaki notes pricing and final specifications will be released closer to the model’s launch date in 2026.
