Inchcape, the distributor of Subaru, LDV and KGM in New Zealand, has announced some personnel changes.
These appointments are said to ‘reflect Inchcape’s commitment to unlocking growth opportunities, deepening OEM partnerships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through operational excellence and strategic transformation’.

Jerry Delaney (above) has been appointed General Manager, New Zealand, effective 1 November. Inchcape says Jerry will lead the New Zealand business with a ‘focus on enhancing network capabilities and OEM and partner engagement’. He is the former Head of Distribution. His appointment is said to support the firm’s Accelerate+ plan to grow in new markets and with new partners.

He replaces Kym Mellow (above) , who steps into the role of Managing Director of Operations, Inchcape Australasia, also effective 1 November. Kym will oversee operations across both markets, focusing on network development, strategic partner growth, and optimisation of value-added services in Finance & Insurance, logistics, and fulfilment. Inchcape says this new appointment is ‘a testament of his leadership in transforming Inchcape New Zealand during his recent secondment and his prior experience as Franchise Director for Inchcape’s pre-owned vehicle business’.
