The JW Group, a commercial EV specialist based in Auckland, has officially introduced the Geely Farizon SuperVan to New Zealand, adding a new zero-tailpipe-emissions option to the country’s commercial vehicle market.

JW Group highlights the SuperVan as a strong choice for businesses aiming to reduce their carbon footprint.

“The Farizon SuperVan marks a major advancement in commercial vehicle technology, blending performance, safety, and sustainability,” the company says.

“We’re excited to collaborate with businesses nationwide to help electrify their fleets and drive meaningful progress in the commercial EV sector.”

Already gaining traction in Europe and the UK, the Farizon SuperVan arrives in New Zealand with two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options—83kWh and 106kWh—offering a maximum range of up to 350km.

Key specifications include an 1800kg payload capacity, 3500kg gross vehicle mass, a sliding side-door with a hidden B-pillar, and an in-cabin weight monitoring system.

A comprehensive suite of 30 safety and driver-assist features comes as standard, including advanced braking, lane assist, a 12.3-inch LCD touchscreen with a 360-degree camera, and Apple CarPlay. Ventilated and heated front seats further enhance driver comfort.

JW Group New Zealand general manager Helena Lee says the SuperVan’s arrival has been highly anticipated.

“It’s been a long time coming, and we’re thrilled to see the Farizon SuperVan finally on New Zealand roads, ready to support both local and international businesses.”

She emphasised that the van will be competitively priced and fully backed by JW Group, ensuring comprehensive warranty, maintenance, and parts availability.

“This is exciting news for the New Zealand market, where vans play a crucial role in freight, delivery, and service industries.

“JW Group is eager to partner with businesses across the country to electrify their fleets and contribute to a more sustainable future,” Lee says.
