Ford has unveiled an even more potent version of its range-topping F-150 Raptor R, now boasting over 900hp or 661kW.
On display at SEMA, Ford hasn’t committed to building this supertruck just yet, but is using it as an example of what its performance potential could be.

Beneath the bonnet sits the same 5.2-litre supercharged V8 engine as the standard F-150 Raptor R, but Ford Performance has extracted an extra 180hp (or 132kW) from it.
Torque figures haven’t been released, but it’s a fair guess to say it’ll be up over the standard figure of 867Nm.
Exterior upgrades have been kept to a minimum, with a gloss carbon fibre package, large off-road tyres, and a Borla exhaust system with black chrome tips.

Despite not committing to this boosted Raptor R just yet, Ford is obviously anticipating the next Ram 1500 TRX, and trying to get ahead of what the Hemi guys are planning.
The outgoing 1500 TRX packed 702hp (523kW), but it’s likely the upcoming model will attempt to beat Ford in the power department.
This shouldn’t be too big of an ask for the guys at Ram, as their stablemate brand Dodge currently sells vehicles with up to 807hp (601kW), powered by the same 6.2-litre supercharged V8.
