Ford has unveiled a Maverick pick-up with increased performance at the brand’s SEMA display in the US.
Dubbed the Maverick 300T, this truck has benefited from a bunch of in-house performance upgrades — a lot of which came from its Mustang stablemate.

Beneath the bonnet, the Maverick 300T still makes use of the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, but with the addition of a larger turbo from the Mustang Ecoboost, and a Mishimoto intercooler it gains a few extra ponies.
With an extra 36kW and 54Nm on tap, the Maverick 300T is good for 220kW and 429Nm, which are a pair of impressive numbers given its size.
Performance upgrades don’t stop at the engine, with a lowering kit, stabilisers, and bushings all taken from the Maverick Lobo. It also gets a set of 20-inch alloy wheels from the Mustang Mach-E GT.

As for aesthetics, new bumpers, air vents, and a Borla exhaust all contribute to the 300T’s sporty look.
Though there are no plans to sell the Maverick 300T, Ford has announced it will be producing a model with similar performance and aesthetic upgrades, which will be available for purchase next year.
