LDV New Zealand is adding another variant to their ute line-up with the launch of the LDV T60 MAX Plus. It slots in at the middle of the five-model range. Under the hood is a 2.0 twin turbodiesel rated as Euro V compliant. It generates a claimed 160kW of power and 500Nm of torque.

Nice exterior colour options.

Along with a ZF eight-speed transmission and four-wheel-drive LDV says it has a 3.0 tonne braked towing capacity.

Inchcape New Zealand General Manager, Kym Mellow, says the T60 MAX Plus is a welcome addition to the brand’s ute line-up.

“We are thrilled to introduce this model, which comes with several upgrades and new features that enhance its practicality, safety, and comfort. This makes it an all-rounder for a variety of lifestyles. At LDV we are all about helping Kiwis work harder every day and the T60 MAX Plus certainly fulfils that promise.”

Mellow continues: “We are also excited to offer new T60 MAX Plus owners a seven-year warranty and seven-year roadside assist. There’s also seven years of complimentary warrant of fitness checks, providing new LDV owners with confidence and peace of mind.”

This new model slots in between the $43,990 T60 Lux and the $59,990 eT60.

Standard safety features of the $55,990 workhorse include Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Autonomous Emergency Braking. The driver has a pair of 12.3-inch displays along with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360° Panoramic Camera, Wireless Mobile Charging Pad and heated and folding side mirrors.

Other standard items include 18-inch black alloys, leather highlights to the powered and heated front seats, parking sensors at each end and keyless entry and push button start.

Handy items include three USB ports, four tie-down points, an integrated step, and tailgate assist for convenient opening. A spray-in tub liner keeps the bed protected while a cargo tailgate lock adds to security.

The new T60 MAX Plus is available to pre-order now with delivery in the new year. Test drives commences first thing next year. For more visit here.
