Chery is preparing to host its biggest international event yet, unveiling a new generation of hybrid technology at the 2025 Chery International User Summit in Wuhu, China. Running from October 17–21 under the theme “Co-Create • Co-Define”, the summit will bring together Chery’s brands and global partners to highlight the company’s push toward future mobility.
The event will showcase the full Chery ecosystem, including CHERY, EXEED, OMODA, JAECOO, iCAR, LEPAS and LUXEED, alongside the debut of its latest hybrid systems. Visitors will get a first look at how Chery plans to integrate electrification, safety, and connectivity into upcoming models, while experiencing technology demonstrations ranging from new drivetrains to humanoid robotics.

Next-Gen Hybrid Platform
Central to the summit is the reveal of Chery’s all-scenario hybrid architecture. The company says the technology combines efficiency, power and off-road capability, while eliminating range anxiety. Innovations include Chery’s in-house hybrid motors—claimed to lead the industry in speed and output—and a new high-efficiency petrol engine, achieving a class-leading 3.71 kWh per litre in energy conversion.
The platform also incorporates advanced energy management software, an ultra-high-strength body, and new battery safety systems. Chery says the combination delivers real-world improvements for daily commuting, long-distance touring and off-road adventures.
Chery has been rolling out its hybrid systems globally under the CSH and SHS Super Hybrid names, already mass-produced across multiple models. The company reports strong sales growth, with nearly 496,000 new energy vehicles sold in the first eight months of 2025—an 82 per cent year-on-year rise.
Global Growth, Local Ambitions
The summit comes at a time of rapid global expansion for Chery. The Chinese carmaker has been the country’s top passenger vehicle exporter for 22 consecutive years and was the fastest riser in this year’s Fortune Global 500 rankings. It also topped the J.D. Power 2025 China Customer Service Index among domestic brands.

Beyond Cars: User Co-Creation
Chery says the summit won’t just be about technology, but also about engaging with customers. Attendees will take part in a “KOC Forum” to share feedback, while an “Ecosystem Carnival” will showcase Chery’s broader lifestyle and mobility ambitions. Events include cycling tours, factory visits and long-distance vehicle tests.
Adding to the futuristic flavour, Chery will also display its AiMOGA humanoid robot, billed as an “intelligent assistant for humanity,” demonstrating how robotics could become part of the wider mobility ecosystem.
