Cadillac’s EVs in Australasia will feature updated technology and convenience later this year with the launch of Cadillac Connected Services. The new feature applies for Lyriq, and also incoming Optiq and Vistiq when they launch.

This is a suite of digital capabilities that enable Connected Infotainment and over-the-air updates. There’s also the ability to connect to your vehicle via the Cadillac Mobile App.
Cadillac Connected Services will enhance the driving and ownership experience by enabling over-the-air updates. These mean customers can download vehicle refinements and enhancements from their garage.
The Cadillac Mobile App brings remote interactions and management of a Cadillac vehicle via a smartphone. This includes the ability to precondition temperature remotely, lock and unlock the vehicle and check the charge level. Owners can also run vehicle diagnostics and even find a vehicle lost in a carpark.
A new Connected Infotainment experience within the vehicle features Google Maps and a Google Assistant. There’s also the ability to access the Google Play Store. It’s all done within the vehicle’s 33-inch display.

Model Year 26 Cadillac EVs sold in the Antipodes include eight years of Connected Services from the date of registration.
Customers who have already purchased a MY25 Lyriq or do so before Connected Services launch later this year can visit a Cadillac Service location for a complimentary upgrade.
Jess Bala, MD for GM Australia and NZ said that the Connected Services rollout was another example of Cadillac’s commitment to providing the best technology available and improving convenience for the customer.
“In today’s highly connected world, customers expect to be able to access everything they need from their smartphones. The Cadillac Mobile App means that they will now be able to communicate with their vehicle…which opens up a whole new world of convenience.
“The inclusion of our new Connected Infotainment experience also means that Cadillac owners will have the very latest in Google’s class-leading services…”
New updates and features for the Mobile App will be communicated as soon as they are available for customers.
