BYD opens new showroom on Auckland’s North Shore

The local arm of BYD has today announced the opening of its latest showroom run by Andrew Simms on Auckland’s North Shore.

Located at 155 Wairau Road, the new premises features an “impressive” number of EV chargers – 40 to be exact, with eight of those being DC fast chargers.

There’s also with plenty of parking, a state-of-the-art showroom space, and multiple hoists for vehicle servicing.

Some of the models you can expect to find inside include the ever-so-popular Atto 3 and the new Dolphin hatchback. In addition, customers will also be greeted with the highly-anticipated Seal sedan once the model arrives on our shores.

“This brand-new dealership is quite possibly the most EV future-proofed dealership in the Southern Hemisphere,” says Warren Willmot, Sales Manager for BYD New Zealand.

The new site adds to Andrew Simms’ long list of locations around New Zealand, including its most recently opened showroom in Dunedin.

Local BYD distributor Ateco Automotive NZ says the new dealership is yet another example of its commitment to satisfying Kiwi customers, in addition to its sales and service locations in all major centres, and its nationwide panel and paint repair network.

“We are building BYD to be a volume brand and this showroom will support our Auckland retail and fleet customers to a world-class standard,” added Willmot.
