BSA has launched its second model, the BSA Scrambler 650 and a new bike, the Bantam 350.

The BSA Scrambler 650 uses 650 Gold Star mechanicals, and will go on sale in Europe and here this September.
BSA’s newest model benefits from an easy riding position, wide handlebars and good low down torque. It is optimised for urban commuting and occasional off-road adventures.

With the familiar 34kW 652cc single-cylinder Gold Star engine, the BSA Scrambler 650 is Euro 5+ compliant. Features of the new machine include Brembo brakes and Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. Colour options include yellow, grey and black.
BSA Scramblers date back to the 1950s and 60s when they won motocross championships.

Anupam Thareja, Cofounder of the BSA company, said: “The BSA Scrambler 650 embodies a…sense of adventure and free spirit. It’s dynamic design and unique aesthetic ensures it is both eye-catching and innovative in its performance. We hope riders will be encouraged to ‘try something different’ with this bespoke bike.

“Functionality and style go hand in hand at BSA; we create beautifully crafted modern classics and want riders to feel confident and exhilarated every time. The BSA Scrambler 650 is exciting, accessible, and fit for everyday journeys through urban jungles or on wide open roads – it takes on any obstacle in its path with ease.”

The new BSA Scrambler 650 carries an RRP of $12,490. Interested parties can register via the website here.
Bantam is back
BSA also released its second new model, the Bantam 350, which the company says will be a disrupter in the industry. With classic styling features like a round headlight, teardrop fuel tank, curved rear fender and a choice of an analogue or digital dashboard, it arrives here when the Scrambler 650 dots down.

Fired by a 334cc liquid-cooled twin-cam engine, this powerplant is also Euro 5+ emissions compliant.
BSA is targeting new riders, those seeking ‘an entry ticket’ into motorcycling. Just as the original BSA Bantam got post-war Britain moving again in the late 1940s, the new BSA Bantam 350 will suit riders regardless of their level of experience.

Anupam Thareja commented: “Today, with pride, gratitude, and a bit of audacious hope, I present not just a motorcycle, but a movement: the return of the BSA Bantam.
“What is the new Bantam 350? It’s a vibrant, modern classic – built on….simplicity and pure riding joy at an attractive price.

“In a digital, distracted world, the spirit of motorcycling is shrinking and BSA is here to change that. The new BSA Bantam 350 is built to reignite that passion, especially in the next generation. “The Bantam is back.”
Pricing will be announced as it goes on sale here.
