BMW M3 Pricing Now Available

Another 3 Series model to receive a facelift is the range-topping BMW M3 variant, available in both sedan and touring versions. The M3 Competition xDrive sedan will sell for $193,200 while the corresponding Touring version will go for $197,600. Expect them here before year end, just in time for Christmas.

Four pipes emerge from the diffusor of the M3's rear.

As part of the update, power output increases slightly from 375kW to 390kW, the same as for the revised M4 Coupe that’s also on the way. Torque output is unchanged at 650Nm, the power directed to all four wheels via BMW’s M xDrive system. Acceleration is brisk, 0-100km/h taking 3.5sec for the four-door and 3.6sec for the estate. The 0-200km/h time reduces by 0.5sec to around 12sec.

And the view from the other end, all aggression as per for the BMW M3.

Other external BMW M3 updates include new alloy wheels and refashioned headlights.

Interior revisions amount to a new flat-bottomed sports steering wheel, different trim elements and an updated BMW Operating System 8.5.

Standard BMW M3 sedan specification not already mentioned includes adaptive LED headlights, a powered tailgate, full leather upholstery, carbon trim, seat and wheel heating and plenty more besides. The Touring variant adds M roof rails, high-gloss Shadowline, and a luggage compartment package. Nine exterior finishes are available, ranging in price from $2500 to $7500 for the ‘frozen’ options.

A host of wheel design options is available, while M carbon ceramic brakes add $19,000 to the bottom line. M carbon bucket seats cost $10,000, while an M carbon exterior package is almost as much.
