Audi celebrates 25 years of RS 4 with limited edition

It’s been 25 years since Audi first debuted the Audi RS4 (B5) technically the first RS model to come from quattro GmbH (now Audi Sport GmbH) the precursor being the Audi RS2 and S6 Plus. So to celebrate the milestone Audi is making a limited edition RS 4 Avant edition 25 years.

More Power
The 2.9-litre V6 biturbo gets a power bump to 470hp and 600Nm, a 20hp increase. This gives the edition 25 years a 0-100km/h time of 3.7sec, 0.4 faster than the standard version.
RS ceramic brakes come as standard as does the RS sport exhaust and a quattro sport differential. The suspension has also been improved using the RS Sport Suspension pro, a manually adjustable coilover with 10mm lower height which can be lowered a further 10mm if desired.
Other edition 25 exclusive goodies include an extra two degrees of negative camber on the front axle and stiffer control arms. A fixed subframe on the rear axle improves rigidity and gives additional feedback. Standard equipment includes a B&O 3D Sound System, an advanced key, a 360-degree camera, and wireless phone charging.
The edition 25 is shod in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres and rides on forged 20-inch alloy wheels in matt palladium. Audi are also chucking in an additional set of Pirelli sensorized P Zero Trofeo RS semi-slick tyres designed for the racetrack and exclusive 20-inch allow wheels in matt black should you wish to hit the track.
What else do you get?
The edition 25 is offered in three colours Nardo Grey, Mythos Black, and Audi exclusive Imola Yellow.
Other design features include black trims around the windows, black inlays in the rear lights, Audi rings and badge letters in gloss black. The matrix LED headlights get darkened bezels and the roof rails have been removed.
Further unique features include ‘RS 4 edition 25 years’ lettering engraved between the C and D pillars. Inside it gets unique matt carbon that also gets used on the front spoiler lip front air intake inserts, side skirts, rear diffuser insert and mirror housings. The Interior features yellow stitching with black Alcantara inserts with the RS 4 logo stitched into the floor matts details which are a throwback to the 2001 RS4 Sport (shown in the pictures) which was an exclusive version of the original RS4. Owners also get a chronograph RS 4 Avant edition 25 years watch.
A plaque in front of the shifter also shows the edition 25 years logo with unique numbering. production is limited to 250 units for Europe. 50 of which are bound for the U.K.
