Aston Martin has revealed the DB12 S, a new halo model that pushes the marque’s “Super Tourer” concept to its highest level yet. Building on the DB12, the DB12 S brings more power, sharper dynamics, and a more aggressive design.
Joining the DBX S and Vantage S, the newcomer continues Aston Martin’s tradition of applying the “S” suffix to its most performance-focused models.

More power, faster acceleration
At the heart of the DB12 S lies an uprated version of Aston Martin’s 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, now producing 515kW with 800Nm of torque. The result is a claimed 0–100km/h time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 202mph (325km/h).

A new quad-exit stainless-steel exhaust system is said to deliver a more muscular sound, while an optional titanium system further enhances the car’s distinctive note and shaves 11.7kg of the overall mass in the process. Powertrain calibration changes have improved shift times by over 50 percent, while the new S-specific throttle mapping is aimed at giving the driver greater precision and feedback.

Sharpened chassis and dynamics
Aston Martin’s engineers have reworked the Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, fitted a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, and refined the suspension geometry to help improve front-end grip and agility. Steering calibration and E-diff tuning have also been revised in the quest for enhanced response and balance.

For the first time, carbon-ceramic brakes come standard, cutting 27kg of unsprung weight and providing greater fade resistance. A next-generation corner braking control system optimises stability under heavy braking and sharpens cornering precision, whether on winding roads or racetracks.
Aston Martin’s Director of Vehicle Performance, Simon Newton, said:
“The technology we introduced with the DB12 now allows us exceptional scope to explore a new depth of character and capability within the same vehicle platform. With DB12 S we have carefully engineered a host of detailed changes, which preserve signature levels of refinement, boost vehicle performance and amplify driver engagement. Having added this greater dynamic and performance bandwidth to DB12 S, we believe this elevates the Super Tourer ethos to a thrilling new level.”

Design with purpose
The DB12 S features a dual-element front splitter, bonnet louvres and new gloss black side sills for improved aerodynamics and visual aggression. At the rear, a fixed spoiler and broader diffuser contribute to stability at high speeds, while quad exhaust outlets signal its intent.

Interior and customisation
Inside, the DB12 S receives exclusive details, including a red anodised drive mode selector, matching contrast stitching, and S-specific interior trim environments. Buyers can choose from Accelerate, Inspire S (semi-aniline leather and Alcantara), or Inspire S full leather options.

Standard equipment includes 16-way Sport Plus seats, with the option of Carbon Fibre Performance seats, while an Alcantara heated sports steering wheel and new embossed and debossed Aston Martin wings on the headrests enhance the bespoke cabin feel.

Coming in 2026
The Aston Martin DB12 S will be offered in both Coupe and Volante forms, with customer deliveries set to begin in early 2026. Price is TBC, if it even matters.
