Aprilia has added extra flair to its popular RS 457 range with the launch of the new RS 457 GP Replica, a special edition inspired by the brand’s RS-GP MotoGP racer.
“The success of the RS 457 owes its thanks not only to its technical characteristics, which are best-in-class, but also to the fact that it has been able to provide an innovative response to the growing demand for easy-to-ride, fun bikes,” says Aprilia in its EICMA release.

It makes use of the same parallel-twin engine as the standard bike, making 35kW.
Elegant and aggressive, the RS 457 is known for its class-leading power-to-weight ratio and accessible performance. The new GP Replica edition takes that appeal even further with upgraded kit and race-inspired styling.
It features a quick shifter for clutchless up and down shifts, mimicking the experience of a full-blown race bike, along with front brake pads offering a higher friction coefficient for sharper stopping power.
A single-seat cover and a blacked-out finish for the aluminium frame, swingarm and steering plate complete the special setup.
The GP Replica’s livery mirrors Aprilia’s RS-GP MotoGP machine, with glossy and matte black shades accented by sponsor graphics.
New Zealand pricing and availability is yet to be released for this upcoming model.
