At Road and Sport, the flat twins are joining the V-twins, with BMW motorcycles to sell alongside Harley-Davidsons.

The flat-twin beast that powers the R 18 line-up.

From 1 October, Hamilton Harley-Davidson dealer, Road and Sport, is adding the BMW Motorrad range of motorcycles to its business.

Road and Sport will become the official Waikato BMW Motorrad dealership.

And the bike that it powers. This is the top BMW tourer, the R18 Transcontinental.

This follows soon after the announcement that Triumph is joining Harley-Davidson at its 521 Mt Wellington Highway dealership.

“The opportunity to add BMW to our existing business was an offer we couldn’t miss”, said dealership founder, Barry Sproule.

BMW R 12, one of the sweetest looking cruisers you could ever lay eyes on.

“BMW Motorrad has a large and dedicated customer base across the world. We are really looking forward to expanding our loyal customer, supporter, and friend groups as we welcome BMW Motorrad here in the Waikato”, Sproule said.

Road and Sport Manager, Hannah Manssen, is also enthusiastic about the development.

And the R 1300 GS, the most popular global tourer of all.

“We’re looking forward to meeting, greeting and riding with BMW owners. Our parts, accessories and service teams are currently deep into BMW Factory training programmes. And we are excited and ready to make your riding experience better than ever”.

An all-new Facebook page, Road and Sport Motorcycles, will feature the dealership’s BMW content.
