Autotalk reports that the Motor Industry Association (MIA) has appointed Jarrod Ho to a new role of business intelligence and systems manager. Ho was formerly an executive with the European Motor Distributors (EMD).
He announced the move on LinkedIn, stating that he had already started his new position with the MIA.
Ho was with EMD for over two decades, where he most recently served as head of business quality. His previous roles included head of customer experience and business improvement manager. He was also a product manager with both Volkswagen and Audi.
MIA chief executive Aimee Wiley welcomed the appointment.
“We are delighted to have someone of Jarrod’s calibre join the team. He brings with him a set of skills and experience which will be of enormous value to the MIA,” she said.
The MIA represents new vehicle distributors and importers in New Zealand and plays a key role in shaping policy, safety standards, and industry reporting.
