Ford New Zealand has announced that the first-ever Everest Wildtrak will arrive in the country in July, 2023.

We’ve only ever seen the Wildtrak name feature on the Ranger before, boasting exclusive exterior and interior features, as well as more technology which now makes its way onto the SUV sibling.

Helping the high-spec Everest Wildtrak stand out from the rest of the lineup will be its Luxe Yellow paintwork and 20-inch alloy wheels with grey detailing.

A unique front grille and bumper feature up front which have been finished in grey alongside the wheel lip mouldings, fender vents, and mirror caps.

The Everest Wildtrak will also receive side steps with steel inserts as well as alloy stand-off roof rails. Wildtrak logos can be found on the front doors, tailgate, and bonnet.

Special treatment extends into the cabin with the front driver and passenger seats getting 10- and 8-way power adjustment, heating, and cooling functions. The Wildtrak name has also been embroidered into the seat backs.

Orange stitching can be found on the Ebony leather and Miko suede seats, centre armrest, instrument panel, doors, dash, and gear shifter.

A 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and 12-inch portrait-oriented infotainment screen make up the Everest Wildtrak’s tech fit-out alongside a 10-speaker stereo system and wireless device charging. It also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Under the bonnet sits the familiar 3.0-litre V6 diesel powertrain, enabling 3500kg of towing capacity.

Ford New Zealand also announced that the Everest Sport will now be available with a 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo four-cylinder engine at an RRP of $77,990.

Additional Ford Everest Wildtrak specifications and pricing will be available closer to arrival.
