Travis Pastrana has whipped the covers off his latest Subaru creation, which is based on a 1987 Brat, but packs more than 500kW.
Built with long-time collaborators Hoonigan, the highly modified Brat will feature in an upcoming Gymkhana video shot in Australia.

Dubbed the Brataroo 9500 Turbo, it makes use of a 2.0-litre turbocharged Subaru engine, which was built by the rally gurus at Vermont SportsCar.
This engine pumps out a hefty 500kW and 921Nm of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed sequential transmission.
As theatrics are just as important as the driving stunts in Gymkhana films, the boxer engine is capable of revving to 9500rpm, which reportedly marks a new record for a car built by the Hoonigan team.

On the outside, the Brat has received a complete makeover with large fenders and an enormous wing at the rear.
As is the case with the last two Pastrana Gymkhana cars, this rear wing along with the front guard inserts are able to move, improving downforce levels through corners and whilst the car is hurtling through the air of large ramps.
Shot around the 2025 Bathurst 1000, the upcoming Gymkhana video titled Aussie Shred is set to hit the web early December.
