The Chevrolet Corvette has been given a cabin makeover for 2026, with a redesigned, driver-centric interior and the debut of Chevrolet Connected Services for New Zealand.
The mid-engine sports car retains its 6.2-litre LT2 V8 powertrain and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the focus of the update is all about in-car technology. GMSV says the updates “elevate the cockpit-style, driver-focused cabin experience and introduce Chevrolet Connected Services,” bringing a new level of digital integration to the Corvette range.

The refreshed cabin introduces a three-screen layout with a 12.7-inch central display, a 14-inch driver information centre and a 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen. The new configuration aims to give the driver a more intuitive, cockpit-style setup, with sharper graphics and expanded functionality. Of course, when the cars sold here will have the steering wheel on the right side of the cabin.

The auxiliary display now includes a dedicated switch for the Performance Traction Management system, featuring a new PTM Pro Mode that disables traction and stability control while retaining ABS for minimal intervention. Other cabin tweaks include a redesigned Drive Mode selector, a repositioned wireless charging pad, illuminated volume controls and a passenger grab handle with an added USB-C port. Even the cupholders have been refined with hand-wrapped inserts, ambient lighting, and embossed Corvette flags.

Outside the cabin, the Enhanced Performance Data Recorder has been reworked with new video analysis tools and on-screen performance coaching, while the Performance App, once exclusive to the E-Ray, now features on the Stingray too.

Corvette also introduces Chevrolet Connected Services, including Google Maps, Google Assistant, Google Play Store integration, and a new mobile app offering remote vehicle access, diagnostics, and over-the-air updates. The service launches with an eight-year complimentary trial.

“When it comes to updating a vehicle as iconic and revered as the Corvette, the recipe is clear — improve the experience for the driver and passenger without ever detracting, or distracting, from the drive experience,“ says Jess Bala, Managing Director of General Motors Australia and New Zealand.
“The 2026 Corvette range perfects the brief, with new driver-focused technology, a reimagined cabin experience, and the introduction of Chevrolet Connected Services all joining the most pure and exhilarating driving experience available today.“
