Toyota Granvia luxo-van arriving later this year
Toyota’s Hiace-based luxury Granvia will arrive here later this year, aimed at high-end hospitality, family and corporate buyers.
Headlining features include premium seating for eight, a full suite of Toyota Safety Sense features and four-link coil-sprung rear suspension to deliver “superlative ride comfort and stable handling.”
There will be one powertrain available, the same turbodiesel shared with the current Hilux and new Hiace.
On-road entertainment and information will be provided by Toyota's fully connected latest generation multimedia system that will be available with four USB ports and a total of 12 speakers.
Safety creds should be solid, with nine airbags, active cruise control and pre-collision safety system (PCS) with pedestrian and daytime cyclist detection, among other driver-assistance features.
Pricing will be confirmed closer to launch, later this year.
