MV Agusta has revealed it will put the gorgeous Superveloce into limited production, with a release due next year.

Just 300 will be built, each commanding a hefty price tag of $NZ54,990.

The Superveloce uses the F3 800 as a base, meaning at least 110kW on tap. More power will likely be attained through some ECU tweaks and freer-flowing hardware but MV hasn’t confirmed outright power or performance figures as yet.

Its design revisits the 1960s Grand Prix championship-winning 500 Three, with a red-on-silver colour scheme applied to a modernised version of the ‘dustpan’ fairings, here made from carbon fibre. The yellow windscreen shelters a new full-colour TFT dash.

Aggressive character lines point to a single round headlight up front, a design mimicked around the back in the taillight. Two mufflers on the right side poke over the exposed rear wheel while a third exits on the left over the single-sided swingarm, hinting at the powertrain layout.

Interested? Better get on the horn with MV Agusta, or go online here, for those 300 units won’t last long. The first owners will be sent their keys in March 2020.
