KTM is hard at work making its road-going motorcycle line-up play nice with the upcoming Euro5 emissions standards and it looks like the 390cc platform we know and love may be in line for an upgrade.

According to Indian Autos Blog, a five-strong range of 490cc bikes is nearly ready for the prime time. The line-up will allegedly include a new Duke, Adventure, Supermoto, Enduro and RC sportbike.

The report reckons the new machines could have as much as 60hp (44.7kW), which is pushing local LAMS rules to the limit, although some deft ECU tweaks could rein the power in for learner riders.

As to when we can expect a debut, the upcoming EICMA show in November isn’t a bad guess, although sometime in 2020 is probably more likely.
