Toyota’s TS050-inspired hypercar is likely to break the $NZ1 million mark, if it actually makes it down here.

The Japanese marque has not confirmed anything regarding markets or availability yet, with officials in Australia still waiting on information from head office. Currently, it is thought there are no plans to bring it Down Under.

Toyota Australia spokesman, Orlando Rodriguez, did however confirm the six-digit-ballpark price tag.

Not that a lack of support through the official channels will stop people wanting or securing one, of course. Those with deep pockets will no doubt find a way to make it happen.

The as-yet-unnamed hypercar will adopt much of the technology found in the Le Mans-winning TS050, which is powered by a 735kW biturbo 2.4-litre V6 hybrid powertrain.
