Ford’s divisive Mustang Mach-E has reportedly sold out in America.

The First Edition of the fully electric SUV has been completely spoken for, according to a Ford representative. We’re not sure what that translates to in regards to numbers, given Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been vocal about the 250k pre-orders for the Cybertruck. The rep added Ford is “encouraging customers to place orders for the other models due to limited sales volumes in the first year.”

We do know that Ford will build 50,000 Mach-Es in the first year of production, due to battery supply, which extends to Europe as well as the US. Apparently, there are still build slots available in the Old Continent.

Ford NZ is yet to confirm the Mach-E’s availability here but signs are good. Ford Australia has said it will get the electric SUV, although final pricing is still TBA.
