The MG range expands with incoming ZST SUV
MG Motor is adding a ZST model to its existing line-up soon, arriving here in August.
Seemingly distinct from the ZS range, though remarkably similar in a styling sense, the compact SUV will be available in two model variants.
Nothing much is known about what’s under the hood, except that Australian information reveals a 1.3L turbocharged engine. ZS models use a 1.0L three-pot turbo or a 1.5 atmo four-cylinder unit.
The MG Pilot driving assistance suite, which debuted recently in the range-topping MG HS, will also feature in the ZST. Other aspects tp the new model include a 360-degree camera and virtual instrument cluster.
The MG ZST joins the MG3 city hatchback, the compact MG ZS SUV, the larger MG HS, and the electric MG ZS EV that is arriving later in the year.
The firm says that, coupled with its five-year unlimited kilometre warranty and five-year roadside assist package, the new ZST will offer “compelling value in the competitive SUV segment”. Only no pricing is available until August, so we just have to take their word on that.
