Armstrong’s will soon open the doors of a new dealership facility in East Auckland, stocking cars from Peugeot, Citroen, and Nissan.

Set to open to the public on June 26, the 277 Ti Rakau Drive comes as Armstong’s prepares for a wider national expansion. The facility offers a few unique touches, including its own on-site panel and paint repair wing — known as Armstrong’s Autobody.

“There’s something quite exciting about building a dealership from the ground up, there’s a huge amount of work involved but when everything falls in place it’s incredibly satisfying,” said Rick Armstrong, Managing Director of Armstrong’s.

“Now that the building is almost open, we can start preparing for what we know will become a destination centre for East-Auckland residents, especially passionate enthusiasts who are interested in Peugeot, Citroen and Nissan.

“It is also an important development from an Armstrong’s perspective, as it reinforces the Group’s vision of the best people, best locations and best brands.”

Armstrong’s currently stocks cars from 16 different manufacturers across 30 different sites around the country. This new Botany premises represents site number 31.

Alongside this new dealership, Armstrong’s also recently confirmed it would be comprehensively updating its Peugeot and Citroen dealership in Greenlane. It’s set to become a three-story supersite.

“Botany is an area which is experiencing rapid growth, so it’s vital we have a presence here across a number of brands, to help cater for a variety of different automotive tastes,” Armstrong added.

“It’s also a win for the local community, as we are making a significant investment in the East Auckland economy through the construction of new buildings as well as creation of new jobs.”
