More WOF suspensions

The Warrant of Fitness saga continues with news of two more suspensions regarding improper WoF inspections.

Vehicle inspector, Mohammed Hussein, and his inspecting organisation - Autozone Services Ltd - has been suspended from issuing warrants of fitness after it was found 1607 vehicles were improperly inspected.

Additionally, vehicle inspectors, Graeme Jordan, Peter Flannery and Michael Urquhart and their inspecting organisation, Peninsula Motors, have been suspended. Around 1170 vehicles were affected.

Finally, NZTA has immediately suspended Glenfield inspecting organisation, World Motors, and its vehicle inspector Sun-Jin Kim. The agency will contact a further 1556 affected vehicle owners individually as soon as possible to advise them on recheck options.
