Lister has revealed a new concept, this one going without a bellowing V8. It’s still based on a Jaguar though, the electric I-Pace. This is the creatively named SUV-E.

It is Lister’s first electric vehicle, with the company calling it an “opportunity for those interested in electric power to own a truly unique and bespoke electric vehicle.”

Changes to the I-Pace include a carbon fibre front/rear bumper and splitter, bonnet and a roof spoiler, glass reinforced plastic wheel arch extensions and front grille surround, and Lister-designed titanium wheels. There are also carbon ceramic brakes, fully adjustable and lowered suspension, around 100kg of weight savings and a software update resulting in “improved power and torque”.

There’s also, strangely, a more aggressive ‘exhaust sound’ to comply with new electric vehicle regulations. We’re not sure what that will sound like exactly.

Interested? Pricing starts at £125,000 (about $NZ251k) and Lister is only making a few, depending on interest and pre-orders.
